The authors report a case of primitive abdominal pregnancy observed at Teaching hospital of L’shi in the DRC in an 18-year-old woman, single, paucipara, having a live child born by caesarean section. The patient had consulted for sub-occlusion. The diagnosis of abdominal pregnancy was confirmed after a clinical, ultrasound and radiological examination. The postoperative consequences were simple. This rare clinical case makes it possible to review the literature and to recall that clinical and ultrasound follow-up is an essential condition for the detection and management of abdominal pregnancy.
